La Isla Maldita: The Ultimate Horror Experience
La Isla Maldita (The Cursed Island) is perhaps the most iconic and terrifying horror maze at PortAventura's Halloween event. This unique walk-through takes you to a real island located in PortAventura's lake, where you must traverse a dark path full of mutant creatures, zombies and horror scenarios while costumed actors try to scare you at every step.
The Experience
What makes La Isla Maldita unique is its physical location - it's not a maze built inside the park, but an outdoor walk on a genuine island. You reach it by boat, adding authenticity and claustrophobia that other horror mazes can't match.
The Story
An abandoned island where scientific experiments failed catastrophically, creating mutations and terrifying creatures that now lurk in the darkness. Visitors must cross by boat to the island and explore what remains: ruined facilities, abandoned laboratories, broken cages, and creatures that now dominate the island.
